MacBoston 18
Truck's mission is to keep alive the memory of NYS firefighters who
died in the Line Of Duty by promoting firefighter safety through
education and raise public awareness with fire safety and prevention
and assist in the recruitment of firefighters.
MacBoston 18 Truck is a membership organization that promotes the brotherhood of the Fire Service and keeps the memory of our Fallen Brothers and Sisters alive. We have rolling memorials in the form of Fire Trucks that have plaques with the names of all the NYS Fire Fighters that paid the ultimate sacrifice since our inception in 1996.
MacBoston's New Tiller - An American Classic
It was a sad day to retire the 1965 Seagrave, many have enjoyed it in regional parades and community events and became a well known symbol to MacBoston 18 Truck. Due to age and rising cost of repairs and maintenance it was time to look for a replacement.
MacBoston recently purchased a fully restored 1980 American LaFrance 100 ft Tiller. It is a beautiful rig and we are sure you will be as excited as we are. It will be the new beacon around New York State in remembering our fallen hero's, promoting firefighter safety and sharing the fire prevention and safety message to New Yorkers.
